Welcome Back Letter

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Scholars,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Bedford Academy High School! We are
excited to begin another year of academic excellence, personal growth, and
community pride. The first day of school will be Thursday, September 4, 2025, at
8:00 a.m., and we look forward to welcoming our scholars back into the building with
renewed energy and enthusiasm.

This year brings with it new experiences, new classes, new scholars, and new
challenges. At Bedford Academy, we remain firmly committed to providing an
environment rooted in love, discipline, and structure, ensuring that all scholars are
supported, respected, and empowered to succeed.

As we begin this school year, we want to highlight a few important reminders:

Uniforms: All scholars are required to wear the Bedford Academy uniform every day.
Our uniforms reflect pride, unity, and professionalism, and we expect scholars to
uphold this standard consistently.

Schedules: Scholars will receive their class schedules on the first day of school. Our
staff will be available to guide and assist students as they transition into their new
courses.

Cell Phones: In accordance with the New York State Bell-to-Bell Cell Phone Ban,
Bedford Academy will enforce a strict no-cell-phone policy during the school day.
Phones must be turned off and put away before entering the building and may not be
used again until dismissal. This policy protects instructional time, minimizes
distractions, and creates a focused learning environment for all scholars.
High Expectations: We believe deeply in the brilliance, resilience, and potential of
every Bedford Academy scholar. We will continue to hold our students to the highest
academic and community standards, knowing they are capable of meeting and
exceeding them.

Parents and guardians, your partnership is invaluable as we work together to support
our scholars in reaching their highest goals. With your encouragement at home and
our guidance at school, we are confident this will be a year filled with achievement,
growth, and excellence.

We look forward to seeing all of our scholars on September 4th at 8:00 a.m. sharp.
