Peer Mentoring

Peer mentoring aims to assist the incoming freshmen class with support from m upperclassmen. 

Peer mentoring begins in the 11th grade. 

Certain 11th graders are chosen to undergo train to become peer mentors. 

Beginning in the 12th grade these students will be full-fledged peer mentors who will be in classes with freshmen students. 

Peer mentors work in groups to support freshmen with social, emotional, and academic needs. 

Peer mentors act as role models for freshmen and help introduce them to Bedford and the troubling place known as HIgh School.
